ABSTRACT
This article examines the problem of dependency from the point of view of innovative technologies and approaches in social work with dependent people, referring to effective practices that have been proven over the years, but adapted according to the new trends outlined. A review of the literature shows that the use of innovative technologies and approaches in addiction therapy and support (telehealth approaches, teletherapy, trauma-oriented approaches, gender-based approaches, artificial intelligence-based tools, etc.) increases the quality of treatment and its outcomes.
